Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Ergo — the hosted decision-memory service available at ergomem.com, app.ergomem.com, and api.ergomem.com (the “Service”), operated by myzona (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Ergo stores claims with reasons, checks new writes for contradictions against your existing claims, and provides retrieval over your stored content via an HTTP API and a hosted MCP endpoint. The Service is under active development; features may change, improve, or be removed over time.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You must provide a valid email address and keep it current — it is how you sign in and how we reach you about your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your API keys and access tokens confidential. Notify us promptly if you believe a key has been compromised.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Service offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (see pricing). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. Each plan includes usage limits (such as guarded writes per month); usage beyond your plan’s limits may be rejected until the next billing period or a plan upgrade.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods. If we change prices, we will give you notice before the change applies to your subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or store content you do not have the right to store;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to access another customer’s data;
  • circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or authentication;
  • resell or re-host the Service without our agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your content

You own the content you store in the Service — your claims, reasons, and ingested documents. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: to store, process, index, and back up your content, and to return it to you. We do not use your content to train models and we do not sell it.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its branding remain our property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond the use of the Service described here.

8. Availability and warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Ergo is an early-stage product; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that stored content will never be lost. Keep independent copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Contradiction detection is a heuristic aid, not a guarantee of consistency or correctness.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you paid nothing).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you first unless the breach requires immediate action. After cancellation, your stored data is retained for a reasonable period so you can come back or export it; you can request deletion at any time via contact.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
